Yuko Nishiwaki had always been a natural athlete, excelling in any sport she tried. When she joined the track team in high school, she was determined to make it to nationals. However, her dreams were shattered when a new student named Kazuma joined the team. He was lazy, unmotivated, and always seemed to have an excuse for why he couldn't make it to practice. Yuko tried everything to get him to commit to the team, but nothing seemed to work. As the season progressed, the team's performance suffered, and Yuko began to feel like she was wasting her time. She couldn't understand why Kazuma didn't care about the team or the sport, and it frustrated her to no end. But little did she know, there was more to Kazuma's story than she could have ever imagined.
